Based on the famous Warhammer fantasy world and American football, Blood Bowl is a combination of a Wargame and a sports game - a combination of a classic strategy game and a sports game. The basics are extremely simple: two teams, one ball. The team that carries the ball into the opponent's end zone scores a touchdown, the team with the most touchdowns at the end of the game is the winner. However, it’s how you decide to do this that makes things interesting, the ends justify the means!

You can create your team from the 8 playable races: Humans, Orcs, Wood Elves, Dwarfs, Skaven, Lizardmen, Chaos or Goblins and manage them as they gain experience through the many championships and tournaments taking place in the Old World. It’s not just the players you have at your disposal either. You can bribe the referee’s to look the other way as you cripple or trample annoying opponents and hire illegal wizards to give you a hand directly from the crowd… Blood Bowl severely tests the finest tacticians' strategies.

Blood Bowl uses turn-based gameplay with each play teetering on the roll of the dice keeping you on the edge of your seat from kickoff to the final score. Blood Bowl brings some of the most vicious gameplay, dirty tricks and lest we forget – secret weapons – to the field in an all new way. It's also an incredibly brutal game, where you lead your team through bonecrunching leagues to compete in the prestigious Blood Bowl Cup!
