Battlefield 4 Outed By Medal of Honor Warfighter Ad

Technically, the fact that Battlefield 4 is in development has been confirmed by an offer by EA on the Origin Store website to be included in the exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta Access when you pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter. Since it's listed with a $69.99 price, presumably the beta access will only be available with the Deluxe Edition.

Early this morning on Battlefield's official Twitter account, ^CB responded to the banner on Origin with an odd comment,

Oh, that old bag, you'll want to stay tuned to the official Battlefield page for the real scoop. ^CB

Included in the Limited Edition of the Medal of Honor game was access to the Battlefield 3 beta so it makes sense that access to Battlefield 4 would also be included with it's successor.

The Battlefield 4 beta access banner has since been replaced and it's unknown if those that did take EA up on their offer will indeed have access.

We're just wondering if the this a marketing ploy or a fortunate mistake by an intern.
