The highly anticipated arrival of Naked Snake on Nintendo 3DS is almost here and to whet your appetite Nintendo and KONAMI release a free demo of Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater available to download via the Nintendo eShop this week. Get a taste of the classic stealth action, bespoke Nintendo 3DS controls and the famous cut scenes that only Hideo Kojima could make in this fully playable free Nintendo 3DS demo.Take control of the legendary soldier Naked Snake during a top secret covert mission deep into the Russian jungle, beautifully rendered in 3D. Use camouflage, cardboard boxes and skill to sneak behind your enemies and infiltrate the Soviets. Don’t worry if you are detected, simply choose from the raft of weaponry at Snakes disposal or use the close quarters combat to fight back.
In order for Nintendo 3DS owners to gain access to the Nintendo eShop, a system update must be performed via a wireless broadband internet connection. To perform the free and simple recommended system update, Nintendo 3DS users can simply:
- Start the “System Settings” from the Home Menu,
- Select “Other Settings” and scroll the page right to select “System Update.”
Those who perform the system update will gain access to the Nintendo eShop and will be able to download the new Nintendo Video application for free, providing access to a range of new and exclusive 2D and 3D video content on their Nintendo 3DS system.
