Last year, Raptr’s “Battlefield vs. Call of Duty Showdown” promotion invited gamers to discuss the merits of their favorite military shooter franchises for a chance to win the ultimate PC gaming rig. Based on feedback and playtime from more than 10 million gamers, EA’s Battlefield 3 emerged as the fan favorite of the competition. Famed modder Brian Carter created the powerful Battlefield 3-themed mod, which can be seen in action below.What started out as a simple idea around creating a ‘military-themed’ PC evolved into a gaming rig featuring a minigun, custom-made sniper fan grill and a beverage cooler! It has the cutting-edge AMD FX 8150 processor as well as TWO Radeon HD 6970 graphics cards, a 60GB solid state drive AND a 1TB SATA III hard drive.
