"Bonfire of the Vanities" tells the tale of Girolamo Savonarola, a luddite priest who preached that the Renaissance was actually having a negative impact on the world and that people should return to the old ways, eschewing the moral corruption of Renaissance thought. Ezio must wrestle control of Florence from Savonarola, who has captured control of the city in de' Medici's absence and regain possession of the treasured Apple of Eden.
